He never really lived up to the hype. Probably mostly b/c he is past his prime. I like him, but Kristin, you are right, we need more important things. Assuming that all our forwards stay healthy for most of the season, which is wishful thinking when it comes to this team, we don't really need him anyways.
Yeah, if Gagne's healthy, do we need Prospal? I thought that's what his role was (playing with Briere like Gagne was supposed to)... Or maybe I'm just making stuff up...
Geez Kristin, you jinxed the whole team by buying Pens gear, and now you throw Prospal under the bus too! You better not jinx Gator... ;)
Bye bye Prospal.
ReplyDeleteI guess he really was a rental. Although could the Flyers have afforded to resign him?
PS-I love the face he's making in that picture
ReplyDeleteMy understanding is that he would have been asking for more than we could afford and still be able to go after what we really need.
ReplyDeleteHe helped get us to the playoffs, but sorta went MIA after we got there.
He is pretty much always making that face!
I feel responsible for him leaving...he was probably gonna be my replacement for gator!

I read prospal wanted to play in a warm weather city and was on the fence about wanting to stay in Philly.
ReplyDeleteIn other news, I started my own hockey blog, separate from the one I run with my friend. The new url is http://brawlingforbrotherlylove.blogspot.com/
