Well, I give up. Although liking the Devils seems like a good idea on paper, there is just something so wrong about it! I really felt dirty, and honestly the excessive showering to clean the ick off my hockey soul was just getting to be too much!
Also, I just couldn't bring myself to lay down cash for a Devils hat, even in the name of blogging! Imagine me posting pictures of myself in a Devils hat! What would the neighbors think?
*sigh*

ReplyDeletePS- I investigated the Kreme Krimpies and I guess they aren't around anymore... but you can purchase an inflatable Krimpet shaped raft from Tastykake.com! You should get one for Gator to sign, I'm sure he'd only be somewhat weirded out! ;)
So Soph reminded me that we saw below that you're going to the Sharks-Flyers game on Thursday. We're going too! Should be an interesing game, since they're both nursing losing streaks...

Kristin, dear, I am so happy the experiment is over. I could see the need for an intervention at the Phantoms game on Monday, and I was prepared for tomorrow against the Sharks.

Bethany and Nadine, I think I will keep the I *heart* Brodeur profile pic for now as a reminder of these past few days. Plus, it's funny to think that I love Brodeur! I was watching the Devils game tonight, thinking about how much I dislike that tubby goalkeeper!

So I guess you guys would be spending warm-ups where the Flyers are...? Soph and I are actually going to see the Sharks, so we're trying to figure out which side we want to be on for warm-ups. I've been to plenty of games at the Wachovia Center, but I can never remember its layout apparently! Maybe we'll see you around, though...
